Who we are

Crewsaders are a trusted and experienced crewing company providing premium crewing services for events of any size and duration across the UK and Europe.

Specialising in the skilled delivery of large-scale corporate events, Crewsaders also bring expert solutions to wider event markets, including: experiential & brand activations, PR stunts, product launches, festivals & gigs, galas & awards, broadcast & TV, private functions and in-house delivery programmes. We are also proud to be a selected crewing partner for bespoke venues and luxury retail clients.

Where we operate

With our flagship office based in Birmingham and another in London, local Crewsaders operate within key UK hubs and all leading event cities including: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Professional event crew are flexible to work across all parts of the UK and Europe and are distributed in trained teams to cover localities with specialist crew requests.

With local crew in Leeds, our North East crew reach as far and wide as Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Durham and Northumberland. Working regularly in stadiums and arenas such as St James’ Park, Stadium of Light, Durham County Cricket Club, Elland Road, King Power Stadium, Trent Bridge, Donnington Park and The Crucible, sporting events are just one stream of crewing that we are proud to champion.
The minimum crew call for all Leeds City Centre venues is 3 hours and for all other locations outside of Leeds, 4 hours. For every team of 4 or more crew, we automatically facilitate the inclusion of an experienced Crew Chief to oversee the management, supervision and delegation of crew tasks.
London
With our largest crew numbers and a host of iconic event venues in our capital city, Crewsaders are accredited to work within all major event spaces including listed, protected, specialist government and high security venues. We crew for every type of event and production ranging from the Commonwealth Heads of State Meeting, to NFL Wembley to the Late Late Show with James Corden.
We provide a minimum 2 hour crew call for all venues within Central London, zones 1-2. For all other locations within a 10 mile radius of Central London, our minimum call time is either 3 or 4 hours (depending on transport links and accessibility). For all locations more than 10 miles from Central London or further afield in surrounding counties, our minimum crew call is 4 hours.
For every team of 4 or more crew, we automatically facilitate the inclusion of an experienced Crew Chief to oversee the management, supervision and delegation of crew tasks.
South West
Our South West crew are based in and around Bristol but cover events in most of the South West region and also Wales.
With regular summer festivals and outdoor events including the likes of Glastonbury, Wilderness and Bestival, our South West team are seasoned professionals when working on large-scale sets.
The minimum crew call for all Bristol City Centre venues is 3 hours and for all other locations outside of Bristol, 4 hours. For every team of 4 or more crew, we automatically facilitate the inclusion of an experienced Crew Chief to oversee the management, supervision and delegation of crew tasks.
West Midlands
As the second largest city in the UK, Birmingham sees a large number of corporate events each year, notably in leading event venues such as the NEC, ICC, Motorcycle Museum, O2 Academy and Edgbaston Stadium, to name but a few.
Servicing the West Midlands and surrounding counties, our stronghold of experienced Midlands crew enables us to meet the demands of the growing event market, with Coventry being announced as the UK City of Culture 2021 and with the Commonwealth Games – ‘Birmingham 2022’ on the horizon.
Our minimum crew call for all Birmingham City Centre venues is 3 hours and for all other locations outside of Birmingham, 4 hours. North West
Historically known for its rich industrial heritage, modern Manchester is now widely renowned for its emerging events culture; specifically rooted in music, arts and sporting events. Our veteran crew in Manchester are experienced in all of the city’s classic and emerging event spaces, including the likes of Victoria Warehouse, Spinningfields, MICC, Emirates Old Trafford, Etihad Stadium and The Bridgewater Hall.
Servicing the North West and surrounding counties, the minimum crew call for all Manchester City Centre venues is 3 hours and for all other locations outside of Manchester, 4 hours.

Our Story

The concept of Crewsaders was built from a belief that stands as true today as it was back then. The belief that crewing services are the backbone of the events industry and as a sector was able to offer so much more than what was being provided.

Company founder and Managing Director Jeremy Berryman wanted to challenge the trade-wide perception that crewing was just about ‘humping gear’, and rather saw huge potential in incorporating a professional, events based approach to the skill-sets and services that event crew were able to provide.

In doing so the vision of Crewsaders was born. In 2008 the company began to empower the industry by employing expertly crafted, skilled and experienced crew who would prove extremely advantageous to onsite technicians and production managers alike. The bare bones of the services were there but Crewsaders set about leading the way in crewing more intelligently, more efficiently and more effectively.

A decade later and Crewsaders are still best known for providing the best in quality crew and the most professional, polished and knowledgeable service within the corporate crew arena. Our experience and professionalism combined with well-trained crew, ensures we provide our clients with an unlimited scope of event industry knowledge. Being familiar with the key event venues, production managers and technicians in and around the UK adds a personal touch to our offering and cements confidence in our brand.
